Project:Sunday feat Melanie Jade

Project:Sunday is a new wave synth pop/urban music project by writer/producer DJKZ, featuring some of Melbourne's hottest up and coming female singers. Influenced by the likes of Duran Duran, Tears for Fears, Five Star and contemporaries like Lady GaGa, Project Sunday is taking the electro pop/new wave sound to new heights. Mixing in urban music styles like UK Garage, Jungle and Reggae, Project Sunday's music reaches the parts others cannot reach. Project:Sunday is fronted by Melanie Jade, a 21 year old singer from Melbourne who counts Erykah Badu, Angie Stone and the Spice Girls as her main influences. She brings a laidback jazzy/r&b vocal style and marries it with clever lyrics and vocal licks. As an act Project:Sunday have managed to revive
a classic r&b sound, strong hooks and a melodies that refuse to let go of you once you hear them. Currently recording an album, Project:Sunday are available for records in every major territory outside of Australia/NZ.
